which strips and drivers to buy?

i'm looking at building myself some strips, need to cover a 4 X 8 foot area in flower.
i was thinking the samsung or bridgelux, i've heard a lot of good things about both. i'd like to use adjustable ballasts, 3 or 4 for the whole rig, so i can adjust them separately.
what do you all recommend? been using two 600 watt hps for years now, getting tired of dealing with the heat, and just bashing my head on the hoods when i stand up too fast...
was thinking something like this?

Also dont go for 1 foot strips, connecting all of those is going to be hell, especially if there is a problem to isolate. And i think those are gen1 chips, we are allready on gen3.
