White bugs what are they?

The pictures are hard to see. They are in my soil. My soil is a mixture of FFOF, earthgro soil, and perlite. I think they are soil mites. But not sure. Like I said the picture is with my cellphone magnify app.

If 8 legs it's a mite. Hard to see in picture, what you need to do is go buy a $450 SLR camera and take a close up macro shot that we can see so close it will scare us. lol jk

It's definitely a more of some kind. But they aren't bothering the plant. It's only a seedling like 4 days old. But they are on the top of the soil and rim of the pot. I think I'm still gonna hit it with some neem oil

Well there's predatory and ones that eat your crop. I'd probably treat before there is issues. But I'm a noob and not even in soil.

Wrong shape for a mite. Looks like an aphid of some kind.

Just found a good page with pics and tho the colour of the aphid is different it's the shape that shows it's an aphid. Not sure if it's a root aphid but I'd get what kills them best and nail them.

Good luck!

I grow in soilless mostly so the only bugs I allow in my grow room is real spiders so they can eat everything else.

My sticky trap caught one fruit fly the whole grow so the spiders are earning their keep. :)
