white dwarf

me and my girlfriend have decided to give growing a go, we decided to start of with a femanized budha seed white dwarf, this is our first time and I'm a little confused, from what ive been told its a relatively small plant so wasn't sure what kind of equipment is really necessary, for example a big tent could cost up to £170+ and a powerful light is not to cheap either and i was wondering if there not better suited for bigger plants. Would i be ok without? also is there anything tips for a first timer?

Ok firstly what you are looking at grow are automatic flowering plants, which means that no matter what type of light you give them they will go in to flower after 21 or so days. this strain (white dwarf) go from seed to weed in 60 days give or take a few..general rule of lighting pattern is 18/6 or 20/4 (18hrs lights on 6hrs lights off) some keep lights on 24hrs(good for cfl grows), but i only have the lights of for 18/6 because i use HID lighting system..ok seeds and lighting done, equipment no you dont need a tent to grow good autos you can get good yeilds from homemade boxes or cabinents..
You need to have a look at the grow journals on this site lots of good viewing there. i have 1 going at the moment, just finishing some speedy gonzales and then waiting for my white dwarf ..I add new plants every 4 weeks, take a look.. 250w HPS - Speedy gonzales.. just click the link..
