I also have problem with those bastards.
do you know that they can kill the whole plant in 3 days :D
I ve also had neem oil, and it is very ineffective if you already got them.
you should apply it systematically before they are appeared.
just turn off the fan and check again, they prefer flying while air is still
look under the leaves for eggs and wipe them off
use yellow sticky traps
not sure about the cinnamon :S, try it, if it works share with us ;)

If they seem to be coming back over and over I would just put a pyrethrin bomb in the tent... turn off all fans/exhaust... leave it for 3-4 hrs.. This is just for persistent populations... i suggest trying more mild treatments first. But it sounds like you have a persistent problem and have already put some time into getting rid of them.

Make sure you use pyrethrum/pyrethrin... Not pyrethroids (synthetics)... Dr Doom should work.

This is assuming you are a week or more from harvest. In theory, the buds should be safe for human consumption after 3-4 hrs of lights on. (Again, natural pyrethrins, not synthetic pyrethroids)

I would set off the bomb during the dark period and also raise the lights a little higher to avoid burning when lights come on and to avoid the bomb spraying onto your bulbs/glass...

White fly eggs hatch in 9-12 days... so i would think three bombs, spread by 4 days.

Day 1 p bomb
Day 5 p bomb
Day 9 p bomb
Day 12 monitor and assess.

After that, monitor the population to see if they persist. Yellow sticky traps are effective. You can make them cheap with a tub of tanglefoot and a stack of construction paper. To make them more effective, put them on skewers and stick them in the media, so they stand up right near the plants. Or, hang them in the problem area.

Also, a yellow bulb on during lights on... whiteflys will fly to the yellow bulb and likely be fried.

If the problem continues, as always, follow IPM.

Yep the bomb or those yellow sticky pads work nice. Every now and then I'll put those sticky traps in my room just to see if anything attracts to them.

^ the traps are great for monitoring. sure, they help pull some adults out of the air, but monitoring is what they are really for. take notice of the grids, do some simple math, and you can get an idea of where the problem areas are.

My friend does weekly spraying of his plants with spinosad and neem. He says he has not had a single infestation since he started doing this. Both are safe. I don't know about neem on my buds though. I would say all through veg and up to week 3 of flower sounds alright. He is not growing mj.
