So sometimes when inspecting outdoor plants i have noticed this white substance more and more on the leaves. I notice sometimes like little puddles of water on the leaves just natural i guess but im wondering if its from just water drying and turning white or is it some kind of mold :o id be glad to answer any questions to help find out what it is. Thanks swizz

From what i can tell its not a powder its just like a white color and a little substance in the shape of where water was.

That my friend is powdery mildew. You really can't get rid of it but you can cut out the infected portions or the entire leaf if it is too contaminated and then treat it with Oxidate or something similar. I have this problem outdoors every year as the PM already exists on some trees and vines ( grapes, melons etc. ) Oxidate is H02 and there may be a home remedy made from peroxide ( H202 ) if you search the internet. Good Luck

For powder mold I recommend a product called green cure. I use it as a preventative for my outdoor garden. The marine layer in the bay area causes powder mold in a lot of gardens. Green cure works great for me.
