Hi

So i have this w.r., my first grow, i have veged her 5 weeks then droped into flower.I use a 250w for 2 plants. Allready in the first week of flower i have seen that lower leaves are getting yellow.
I thought this would happen in late flower not in the first week, until now leaves from bottom to up are yellowing one by one, not so alarming fast but they are dying.
Is this normal? I have this pics with the yellow leaves, is this a normal thing or some salt buildup? Also have another two pics that one i supose is nutburn and one some deficiency?Should i flush the girl? I use biobizz biobloom nutes.

The last pic is the whole plant pictured. I thins, overall is in ok condition. I also want to ask what to do with the leaves that begin to yellow? Should i leave them on the plant, N from the leaves is used by the plant? Or should i cut them when they begin to loose colour?
Thanks for the answer.DSC01221 n.jpgDSC01218 nutburn.jpgDSC01219 deficiency.jpgDSC01226.jpg

Sorry, that was a mistake. Once in awhile the two of us have different opinions. Try letting the soil dry out well, letting at least the top third become completely bone dry. Then give her a good plain watering. If it's nutrient burn, it's only a light, over-time burn and flushing, especially at this point in flowering, is probably unnecessary. Since flushing deprives the plant of nutrients, it really should be avoided until the end of flowering.

It's a little difficult to water properly with most soil mixes. Everytime we water, we take anywhere from half an hour to an hour to slowly wet the soil. The faster you water, the more just runs out the bottom. The slower you water, the more time it has to spread throughout the soil. Spraying the top of the soil first helps keep the water from running out the bottom. As long as you wait until most of the soil is dry between waterings and use a good soil mix, it's hard to overwater. Good soil only holds so much water and lets the excess run out. This is the purpose of soil additives like perlite.

Nitrogen grows leaves. Have you ever smoked leaves? If so, you can understand why you want your finished buds to be made up of less leaf and more calyxes, stigmas and whatnot. Decreasing N will also lower harvest weight. It depends on the strain. Some naturally don't have much leaf. It also depends on where in flowering they are. At the beginning of flowering, there's no bud and only foliage, so they need a higher ratio of N to the other nutrients. Reducing N just a little during the second half of flowering is the best way to go about it imo.

It's more important to give them the N they need than to hold it back in an attempt to make the buds smoother.

The old farmer reccomended 6-12-12 for budding. A good pump up sprayer would help your plant. When fan leaves die in a yellowing manner it's an indication of a root problem, usually caused by something the plant doesn't like, such as poor drainage and other problems. When you transplant be sure to add a nice layer of gravel in the bottom of your plantpot. Your plant will love you for this.

because N can encourage re-vegging.flowering nutes have enough N. its fine, keep going as u are.
