Hi cannabis fam! This is my baby girl Dolato and I noticed some white/burn looking spots on her today. I watered her like normal yesterday with a pressure sprayer directly to the soil. She looked completely healthy and no spots then. 24 hours later, the spots appeared. I’ve inspected her all over and no visible signs of any critters or pests. Any idea what it could be, I’m thinking maybe burn from water splashing maybe with the lights? At least I hope so. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Background info: She’s an all organic soil indoor grow, 2x4 tent. Only using a compost tea and no additional nutrients as of now. She’s due for a foliar spray today. I’m using a King LED 1000w light on veg mode. Lights are 24” above canopy. Humidity and temp are all controlled.

Looks like damage from a pest to me, but it's hard to tell. If you are new to growing cannabis then skip the foliar sprays, unless it's for pest control. Very few people feed foliar sprays and they always seemt to cause issues with new growers who think they are necessary.

Thanks for your reply! I appreciate it. I can skip the foliar spray today. Any advice if it is pests? Should I spray it with anything? This plant is alongside my Strawberry Cough strain with no visible damage. I’d like to prevent any further damage to both if possible.

I have been lucky enough to not have to deal with pests yet, but I'm pretty sure there are different recommended treatments based on what pests are present. If you don't already have a jewler's loupe, then I would recommend ordering one from Amazon...they are only about $10. Then use a loupe to look on both sides of a bunch of leaves and you will at least be able to rule out pests.
