White vs Dimpled Aluminium

Hey guys, planning on upgrading my grow cabinet and one thing I seriously lacked was a reflector. So was wondering on fitting one out. Anyway was wondering, whats the difference between White Shades and Dimpled Aluminium Shades? Reflectivity? Ambience?

Let us know your opinion I'm still about a week or two until I get the cabinet ready and need to install them.

Thnx man, I've decided to go with a plywood shade with astro foil on the inside

Don't go all cheap now, just buy a can of some white paint and paint it. It reflects light a lot better than the aluminum, which just absorbs most of the light and reflects a little bit. Either go Mylar or White Gloss paint, don't do poster board. Nobody want's to have to redo something they did half ass the first time, do it right first, and you won't have worries later.

use flat. the gloss or shiney paint absorb UV.
