White Widow auto 17 days with LOTS of foliage but little stretch?

I noticed over the last few days that both of my white widows seem to be growing a lot of foliage and not stretching, maybe they are growing up and I am not just noticing, but one seems to have a LOT of foliage and some of the leafs are actually growing inwards? Lots of leafs and new growth from the stems which there also seems to be a lot of on one plant? The other seems fine, they seem to have spurted and now are growing a lot of leafs and foliage, but not growing up?

I have moved them today to a 3x3 tent with a 300w Mars FCE3000 at 75% raised higher hoping to get some stretch.. previously they were in a 1x1 tent with a Spider SF1000 100w..

Any advice on what I can do or is this normal? I was thinking of topping them but the tops are growing quite slowly...

I am guessing cutting leafs etc is out of the question this early?

They mature yet?

I kinda go against the grain around here but I like to encourage some stretch in young veg plants. No harm will come by raising the lights up and turning the power down for young plants in veg like that.

PPfd or whatever they measure light with is all well and good, but different plants are happy/sad with different variables. Don't fuss over dialing-in an auto unless you're familiar with the particular cultivar. No need to fret over optimum light and this and that. They grow just fine without us constantly messing with them.
