White Widow expert advice wanted

I just pop Nirvana's "Misty" seeds in after germinating using the classic wet paper towel method. Kudos to Nirvana, I got 100% germination after only 48 hours. Also Nirvana’s stealth shipping sailed thru right to my front door in three days and arrived un-tampered.

Misty is a WhiteWidow/Skunk#1 hybrid and I’m looking for some expert advice from other forum members that had success with similar hybrid strains. I vegetated my last grow far too long and was wondering how many days I could cut back before switching to the HPS bulb for flowering. My first grow was about 11 weeks in vegetative stage and it produce a monster bush that was a royal PITA to maintain indoors. I’m thinking I’d like to cut over from the MH bulbs to HPS (12/12) after 45 days. Hopefully after 45 days of vegetative growth its only 7/8 weeks of flowering…does that sound like a reasonable amount time for vegetative growth in a non-hydroponic system for this strain?

HPS 400w light for 12/12
One meter square of floor growth
FoxFarm soil and nutes
Temp 78 day, 68 nights

ive popped out decent crop with 4 weeks veg, and 8 in flower, well like 9 1/2 weeks for flower. They where white widow which is what i primarlly play with except i got them from a grower thats local to me so i actually dont know if they for sure white widow but they positively glow when then secret those awesome flower goo.
