this is gonna be my first grow and it’ll be in 8 10 gallon pots under 2 1000w hps. How long should I veg the plant for if I’m looking for at least 4 oz. per plant? The strain I’m going to growing is white widow and I will have temporarily temperature and humidity under control.

I grow WW exclusively. I only do two plants at a time under a 600 watt MH/HPS for my own needs once per year. I veg typically 5 to 6 weeks and flower for 10 to 12. It can go as long as 13 or 14 depending on the conditions. I top them once and let 'em go.

I typically net between 4 and 6 ounces per plant, no problem.

What size pots and what breeder, Taco?

I use cheap, black, plastic 5 gallon nursery pots. I get my seeds from ILGM.

Miracle Grow potting soil mixed 35% perlite with 2 cups garden lime in each pot.

General Purpose Miracle Grow fertilizer for veg.

Tomato formula for flower.

I use a 4 stage RO/DI water filter for my water.

Veg MH 18/6

Flower HPS 12/12

Yep. Once.

I actually scrogged once, but it netted WAY too much and I wound up throwing over half of it out.

That's why I just top once and let them go now.
