Whole top bitten off young plant

Hi the whole top of a 2-3 week plant was bitten off in one night.. perhaps a pussum or snails.. who knows. It has no leaves. can this plant recover? i cutdown the stem abit and covered with soil. TY

yea that sucks and nodes left even without any leaves?I would start over and keep this one to if it has nodes left.

grasshopper aphids could be a few things snails and slugs leave trails i believe it was a grasshopper, tough luck man.

I had my gfs cat bite one of my favorite plants. (stinky sally) he literally broke into my grow cabinet and bit it in half ate a foot and a half of the plant and threw it up on the floor. A half foot was left (mostly the small undergrowth) and it was living and continued to grow until he got the rest of the plant and made a cat puke hash under my kitchen table. Poor Poor stinky sally

Cats love plants, never leave in a window or in reach of a cat, they will dig, jump, slash, crash, dash, lick your plants, they can get into cabinets if there smart
