I had given them maybe just a sip of nutrients to them at that point. All had been done with R/O water with a PH of roughly 5.7 Just the first few leaves did this last time as well.
5.7? Way too low. In soil? 7.0 going into soil. Soil buffers down to where the plant needs it.
They are in rockwool and in a hydroponic set up.
If there is any specific details that would help you come to an answer, please ask away. All that I find maybe a little aggressive, is when I take them out of their starter dome. It goes from 80 - 90% humidity to 40 - 50%. I do of course let the vent open slowly and allow this to happen over the course of the day or two. I'm not even sure I'm supposed to do that with seeds but I feel like I read it somewhere. They are planted directly into the 1" flushed rockwool cubes and onto a heat mat inside my humidity dome. Once I see roots come through the one inch I plant them into 3" They received a sip of nutrient but mostly just R/O water. Temps are 75-80 during day and 65-70 during night, Can't think of anything else that might help and thank you for your help
Water temp? I always just concern myself with room temp. Should water temp be roughly the same I would assume? The only thing I might do there is change out the water with colder water but I'm sure it makes room temp within an hour or two. Surely a lot more people would be aware of this if that were the case. Which makes me think I'm doing something wrong with my humidity. Do you guys use a humidity dome when you start with seed? If so when do you start venting?
I clone under 1000 watt light and no domes....
Thanks for the tip and I'm going to try without next time. My clones did do well in the dome this time it was just the seeds that twisted but seeing the stress it may have put on the babies is enough for me to give it a try without next time around. Once again thank you for your input.
