Why are my vegging Clones growing pistils?

Hey guys,

These are somewhat new clones (got them about a month ago)
Had some initial transplant shock but other than that they have been growing super well and have been super healthy and easy to maintain.
About 2 days ago I took a closer look at the plants while feeding them and noticed pistils starting to grow?
They were on a 18/6 light schedule when they were a bit shocked to not stress them out then I moved to a 20/4 light schedule once they were perked back up so there's no way they're anywhere near a 12/12 flowering light schedule.
Side note these are 2 different strains and both have small pistils popping out.

Definitely want to make sure these girls aren't getting kicked into flowering somehow as I'm planning on making these my mothers then cloning and flowering with those clones.

Will the pistils go away with time? Do I need to up the light schedule to 22/2 to prevent them from flowering more? Any help is as always very much so appreciated!

It’s normal. They indicate about a month in from seed. While in full veg. It’s how they get pollinated. Your clones probably came from a plant ready to show pistils.

I've had clones show pistils right after rooting and getting their feet under them. It's normal, the clone is just like the mother, and a mature mother is ready to flower. I've also had clones get right to it in flower, no delay on building bud site's because they're so ready to flower.

Okay cool just wanted to make sure I didn't fuck up somewhere and kick them into flowering as these girls aren't nearly big enough for me to flower yet. Going to keep vegging for a good bit.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I've just gotta ask

Do the clones that are super keen to flower re veg for you once they have been transplanted and under veg conditions? 'Slim' has a bunch of clones that have just shown roots and look like they are kicking into flower and are only 4" tall... It was a moment of joy for 'slim' when he saw the roots popping out but soon shifted to pannic when he saw the little bunch of pistills showing on top. 'slim' took cuttings from his mother that is easily 2-3 months old. This is 'Slim's second attempt at cloning and he could have sworn the first bunch didn't show these signs. A lot of it had to do with how mature the mother is. But I would be looking at a possible timer malfunction maybe? Were the clones cut in flower? Monster crop style? If so it's just reveg action, if not I would be making sure they're getting their daily 18/6. I've had male cuttings throw balls all through reveg, sucks when you have flowering plants close by.

I've heard people running 24/0 during cloning periods, unfortunately don't have a spare timer to hand right now, Slim will get it switched out asap. Slim is looking at the mother now and she does seem to be showing similar signs with pistills and in two separate areas on separate timers.. These are feminised northern lights x bigbud clones, will a regular photoperiod stay in veg indefinitely or do they eventually force themselves into flower?

Slim sounds like he is keeping his clones in an area that needs brighter light
They won't flower with plenty of light if photo's

Are they root bound? You can keep a plant in veg indefinitely if they're happy. If they get root bound, def, a variety of factors, they will try to flower in veg.
