Why cant people be open minded?

How come people cant be open minded about religion, races, drugs, new ideas, etc?
I know that i am really open minded about shit. If you talk about a religion im not gonna say that it is a bunch of shit, like alot of people would. Sur i dont really believe in god and yet i do. If you ask the catholic church if the Mormons are going to hell they would say yea, and the other way around. Not trying to be raciest but if you ask a black person if white people are better they would say no, if you asked a white person if a black person was better they would say "Hells yea chief, ever since that silver war wed all been better." I mean damn how come we cant get along and have a open mind? If someone asked someone that had never dun drugs if they wanted a hit of some weed, and that person didnt have a open mind and say yea they would never get to fell the greatness of weed. Please tell me why humans are like this?

Hmm i dont understand, how would shutting out mouthes help? We need them open to spread new ideas and new information so that people can accept the ideas instead of makeing a fucking deal out of it!

I feel your pain; I really do. I'm the kind of nice guy that just wants to get along, without all the damn drama and BS. But kiss that ideal goodbye on this forum! There are trolls, morons, stoners, 15 year olds growing a bag seed plant under a 12w CFL in their closet, and just plain assholes. If you help people on here you will get shit on, called stupid and every other name. It's just the way it goes. You would think that we would treat each other with respect but hell no, somebody always has to be a dick head. Just be prepared for it. BTW, the tagline is funny as hell. :)

We are like this because we are the subjects of a big human experiment in which some people believe they have the right to decide for other people... and its so inculcated in us, we are little self replicating copies of the phenomena... How would you react if someone came to your church in a bikini? Why? Until such time as we evolve to the level that true anarchy (the state where no one is subservant to anyone else) exists, this will be how things are.

The difference is in Beliefs and Ideas.

Beliefs are far harder to change than ideas.

That's why I only have ideas.

Open mindedness to someone is gonna be a totally different direction for someone else. I wish there was at least one thing in this world that EVERYONE could agree on. Maybe pot should be smoked by EVERYONE :joint: lol
