Why didnt this open up

The membrane inside the seed shell is still attached preventing the cotyledons from opening.
Mist it with water to soften the membrane and gently remove with a toothpick or tweezers.

It might but is easily fixed. It looks like the seed came off so if isn't opening the seed membrane is likely still stuck on it. You can wait and see but if it were my plant I would very carefully take the membrane off. Just be very gentle and it should peel right off and the cotyledons should pop open.

Dude thanks for the tip. I got the membrane off and it looks like its gonna pop open now
