Hard to tell with so little info.why do i keep getting "light and airy" buds? i tried using the flora series nutrients in some potting soil and everytime i grow i just keep getting thin buds. can anyone help?
I have never used a CO2 system and I get nice big hard buds. Co2 is not required to grow nice buds. It might be that he is missing something though. Hard to tell with no information given at all. I would bet that he only has CFLs for lights. But I am just guessing.Fluffy bud mean you are not using any type of co2. You need co2 and that will solve your fluffy bud problem.

This bud was grown with no CO2. But i did have a 1,000 watt HPS and good ventilation and Nutrients and such items though.
The light is like $7 at walmart! Get at least a 600W. You won't be sorry.i have a 2 tube 4 foot shoplight with cool white for veg and cool/warm whife for flower. i know, shitty system. i have a 100w hps but no ballast or anything. any suggestions for better lighting for the best money, cause thats a big factor. thanks
i see u took my advice and pass it to othersget a ballast for that 100watt hps. check out High Tech Garden Supply
or jump on a bunch of 100watt equivalent cfls's. but imo, if heats not an issue the ballast would be the best bet. i'm doing cfls's and all is good so far, but there expensive too, once you get the right amount..
