Why do Med shops clip the leaves on the Clones? If so will this effect anything?

There are many other leaves good green healthy, but they clipped some of the leaves to live half way. The very large leaves. I believe it is because they feel it makes the plant weight to heavy? Does anyone disagree and, or know the reason why they do this?
(imagine if your plants had 3 large leaves that were finely cut in half)

Generally the theory is about causing the cutting to want to grow roots rather than foliage. The chemicals that are released in the plant to repair the leaves are related to the same stimulants that will cause roots to grow out of the cut area on the stem.

So it is not generally bad if say 4 leaves are all cut off but the 5th is sliced half way? Should i cut this 5th leaf off. (2nd from the left not literally the 5th.)

Just leave it as it is. From this point onward less shock the plant receives the better it will grow.

The thing is they did not cut the plant right in front of me. I would think they did it right when they put it in the root solution. Anyways. I wont.

when i cut clones i cut all the leaves in half it is so that the plant uses its energy to grow roots instead of foliage

yes or just leave small leaves. either way you need low level light.

Will this do? Its a 250 watt soft light. 5000 Lumens it says on the box the sun is about direct sunlight is about 50,000-130,000, and the white paper doubles it so its about 9-10k lumens. I think it will work? I mean it hurts the fuck out of my eyes when i look at it lol... I might get a 150 watt CFL(600 watt).

were do you people get your info ive read that you cut the leaves to cut down on Transpiration and its saves space nothing to do with C/N ratio of the plant
