Has anyone noticed this? There has been a number of states complaining that the board of elections, especially the boards that are controlled by Democrat leaders, has FAILED to mail out early voting ballots to citizens and to active duty military oversees in time for the ballots to be counted, and now I read this article today. . .

Illinois Gubernatorial Candidate's Name Misspelled as 'Whitey' on Ballot

An Illinois gubernatorial candidate's name reportedly is misspelled as "Whitey" on the touch-screen voting machines in a number of wards with a majority of black voters.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Rich Whitney, the Green Party candidate, is contemplating legal action after election officials said there's nothing they can do about the misspelling before Election Day.
"Whitey" turned up in 23 wards. The name shows up correctly on the initial screen but not on the screen that allows voters to review their choices.
"This is a difficult situation. We'll make the best of it," a Chicago election official told the newspaper, adding that the name is spelled right "where it counts" and that most voters will use paper ballots anyway.
Whitney questioned whether "machine politics" was at work.
"I don't want to be identified as 'Whitey.' If this is happening in primarily African-American wards, that's an even bigger concern," he said.

What the hell is going on? Are my predictions coming true? I remember saying after the 2008 November elections that in 2010 and 2012 when the Democrats get thrown out of their offices, they will not go gently into that good night.

Is it possible we might be looking directly into the eyes of a future dictatorship?:finger:

there's no need to make it a partisan issue. both "sides" are filled with power hungry control freaks and money junkies, this shouldnt come as surprise

there was plenty of shady evidence to suggest that the bush/florida election could very well have been rigged for the win...with all that happened and his families members working for fox news/florida governor at the time. why must anyone be so naive as to believe a politician? the clintons and bush's are only 2 families- so why have they both had so much control for so long? obviously they'd been funded for a while and put infront of you to influence. we already live in a corporate dictatorship- a fascist one. in a country where the gap between rich and poor is the widest of any industrialized society and where a few companies control every sector of every business in the economy. point being- if wealth and power is so consolidated, why the fuck would anybody be so naive as think this kinda shit doesnt happen regularly?

Wikipedia?? Yep, that's where you'll find it alright, lol. I think both parties need to be shown the door, corrupt bastards. S
What's wrong with wikipedia?

Yep. Both parties are corrupt. Both take money from the same people. There are differences between the two for sure, but neither is taking the high road.

I really think that I have seen more misleading 'news' from the site cited by the op than I have seen on most Wiki links.

Conservatives or corporatists? The conservative party has been taken over by the corporations and the Chamber of "foriegn commerce". Please explain why the republicans feel OK with foriegn money being spent to influence our national elections, and probably a few governors races as well. This should be on par with subversion and treason. The new law that lets corporations and I guess foriegn money, influence our elections without revealing their interests or the sources of the monies, is very anti-constitutional. I would think true conservatives would be extremely against these procedures, but hey, if it works, then who's actually looking, right?

Lay off the glen beck. Since the industrial revolution the country has been an oligarchy/polyarchy controlled by banks and whoever has lots of capital. Ignorant fox news brainwashed drone.
