maybe your dog just has a good immune system~ i remember my aunts shitzu always barfing up his food, then eating it right after, and he never got sick either.. weird~

When im sick im like out for the count for like three days. My dog will throw up and it wont even phase it. Damn thing doesnt even bat an eye, just keeps running around and eating grass.

they get all of those and i just explained 2 reasons. the way their body is set up is differently to, its much better at fighting off a lot of things. but they can get things like heart worms and die yadadamean?

My dogs never had a cough or a runny nose. His nose is always cold and dry. A heart worm is a parisite, not a virus. Dogs are from outterspace.

Maybe because they don't get exposed to other dogs the way humans are exposed to other people. I used to get sick a lot more at my old job when I was interacting with hundreds of people a day. Now, I rarely interact with anyone, and I haven't been sick in ages.

Its those damn kids and their sticky fingers. The germs stick to the kid and then the kid comes and rubs its sticky germy hands all over your stuff and whaaaamy! Sick. Stupid kids.

Coughs, yes. Well, we sell 'cough tabs' and promethazine. Flu? No idea but we sell a ton of various antibiotics and pain killers. We sell motion sickness meds that are purchased almost exclusively by the US military.

Drunks are even worse than the kids. Touching dirty pool ques, peeing all the time and not washing their hands, touching their lips while smoking, having unprotected sex with aids infested prostitutes in the parking lot. Damn drunks!

man, i bet if you compared the sales of cold and cough remidies in all of the states to the cough tabs you sell to dogs and made it into a ratio that humans would consume 200x the amount dogs do. You think?

Not a doubt in my mind. Probably even more than 200x.

Personally, I think that dogs evolved/domesticated from wolves which are wild animals that eat all sorts of funky stuff and therefore have a better immune system than us. I mean hell, if they can eat shit and not get sick, I doubt a few bacteria are gonna bother them too much.

Hell, I'm high as hell right now with my mind running a mile a minute. Now you've got me curious about this Lol. I know we sell some supplies that just blow my mind. Like body spray for dogs, false nails for cats, all sorts of strange stuff for livestock and thoroughbred horses. People spend a TON of cash on their pets.

EDIT: I am guilty of pampering my pets too. I have 3 Furminator brushes that cost about $35/each wholesale.

I got baked and started thinking about this and couldnt get it outta my head lol its probably a good thing that dogs dont get sick cause the last vet trip i went to cost four hundred bucks. Most people dont have four hundred bucks to spend on a dog, a new dog is wayyy cheaper.

My parents used to have a daschund that would NOT back down from a fight, even with the neighbors pit bull. That whole fiasco cost my folks almost $2k!

On a side-note, my employer offers health insurance for my pets. I think I may take them up on it next time open enrollment is happening.
