why is it purple?

my plants are underway, both stand 3 inches, and look great!

set up...
2 -26watt cfls
1 fan
small bowl of watter
everything consealed in a 1' x 1.3' box

temp stays aroung 80 degreese

here is the thing on of the plants have leaves that are outlined in purple. is that bad?

no i dunno i always heard purple was a sign of nitrogen deficiency but i dont know for sure

Because it cant breath, give it mouth to mouth....

What does the temp drop to at night, it could just be the strain...

I to have a purple plant. The bud and the leaves turned purple. and i have it outside...The mother plant where i got the seeds from wasnt purple o_O Could it be the weather?..

my powerplant has been known to do the very same thing! alot of the petioles are purple too (petiole=stem on leaf) along w/ some of the outlined leaves. it might be a trait, or it might be the temp difference - i know purple is commonly sourced from being cold @ night during flower - but ive seen purple petioles / outlines during veg too. the petioles are not a sign of deficiency cus my plants are as healthy as they could ever possibly be, but the outlined leaves i dunno. id like to know exactly why it turns purple though.
