About what strains the already licensed LP are selling? I don't get it...maybe they'll all selling the same thing. I gotta say that I would feel a little more comfortable knowing I was getting "Maui wowie" instead of some coded purple in a green jar. While I am trying to keep an open mind, I'm not all that impressed with the first three offerings. Tic Toc 88 days left!

Commercial beasters and kush's, they dont even know wtf they are selling I bet.

If PnP's high CBD strain is a CBD crew variety, they'd lose out on the sole brand and marketing possibilities...

I could see mettrums two varieties being purple kush and pre 98 bubba or something hahaha.

Not very appealing to the customers that for certain.

So would it be legal for Mettrum to buy seeds for a specific strain, and sell the product with the appropriate label?

Don't worry WHATFG, some heads/growers that actually know cannabis and are also connoisseurs are in the cue. Will they/we be ready for D-day remains to be seen. For us it is more like TIC TOC!!!

start rant...We laugh at the websites we see, all seem to be catering to the old people who just don't know marihuana, full of spelling mistakes and cannabis cures that match specific strains to specific ailments, instead of to specific patients.

The three LP's so far are missing the boat completely in my opinion, it is too bad that they are the only representatives of our precious herb, but that will change. At least PPS is not alone in misrepresenting marihuana anymore.

We won't be catering to HC's vision, nor to the sterile doctors who want clinical kickbacks from this industry, no, we will cater to the patients who know cannabis. If you are too religious or pure to read and see God's Big Balls of Thunder Fucking Cannabis, then move on to a different site. But if you want some kick ass herb for your pains stick around. I always pictured Doctor McGillicuddy as a boozer/moonshiner who knew his alcohol, not a clean, in whites, doctor. In fact I can't think of a single successful sterile/clinical alcohol.

I have my own vision of this industry and so far it is nothing like what the regs are painting or what the first LP's have done. Looking forward to ending this bullshit vision of marihuana. It has got to stop if we are going to get the other 40% of Canadians on board. Hope you all find it refreshing when it happens, the truth about pot, wow, could it really be happening?

We are gonna shake things up, and we will see what patients want, good luck Cannimed, sounds like bitter tasting crap already. How about a person who answers the phone when you call, and responds to emails individually, we will take your call and talk about marihuana from a perspective of deep knowledge, if we don't have what you want, we will help you find it from another Patient owned/small/community oriented/LP. You are not just a number where we come from... end rant.

I would think the same thing that is wrong,with strains from anywhere outside this country punky , when you are talking in respect to the MMPR or the real
program..the MMAR....the program that patients already fought tooth and nail to get...
the program...that many who are no longer with us "The sick"...fought and were dragged thru court/jail... the mud...and tossed into police cars
in front of their friends and neighbors....so that we would have a system that persecution was no longer an issue...(in theory) and sick people had access to their meds....(in theory)
see people... when a wheel comes off, your supposed to fix that wheel....not scrap the entire car.....(get it?????)

I am thinking that the growers lawyers probably told them that using the variatal names we all know could open the growers up to intellectual property suits down the road.

I know if I was the breeder of Super Whoopy Purple Chem Widow four or five years ago, and I saw some big-assed Canadian Leaf Corp making millions off all my work, I would have them in court pretty quick demanding a big chunk of royalties. I would probably win. Copyright and intellectual property laws are BIG business and the laws surround them are harsh.

It doesnt look very good when you bash other LP's considering your soon to be one. We'll see what your saying in a few months when your actually in business

I have been pretty clear that I want nothing to do with this new program let alone start paying for something that isn't from my own country. Why would I want to give the only money I have to a foreign company? And are you a patient, a potential LP or a a friend of punky's?
