why my bud dont smoke good?

hello fam, i did everything by the book, i grow bubba kush from green house seeds. i even let them go an extra week of flowering. after i cut them, i hung them upside down for 4 days. bought mason jars and started to let them cure. when i cut them they were smelling good but after i started to crue them i would open the jars for 10min them close them back. its been 3 weeks and they dont smell as good when i cut them. they dont even smoke as good as i would hope. what the hell went wrong. i even flushed them 5 days before i cut them. can anyone help me?

i know i'm not the only one that this happen to, can anyone tell me where i went wrong?

i found that it doesnt smell as good in jar but take a bud out and let sit out overnite and the smell comes back

I would say just keep curing it in the jars for another 1-2 weeks untill the buds have a nice crisp feeling to them... i dont have too much experience but thats what i would do.

Give it some more time, I finished my 1st 1/2 assed grow in the fall. Harvested in late Oct and just recently (last week or so) the hay smell has been replaced by a nice peppery skunk smell. It smokes good for bagseed, nice sativa high and for a 1st effort I`m pleased.

I just finished Bubba Kush from Greenhouse Seeds as well....gotta say, wasn't too impressed with it either......didn't have a super great high or flavor in my opinion....only kind in that batch I didn't like nor was I impressed with.....discontinued it thats for sure .....sorry to hear it didn't go good man.....fyi, u may have already did buttttt in case not, make sure you stems crack before you put into the jar...i find that to be a huge key when doing side by side tests....also, after the 1st week of burping, dont open the jar again until your ready to smoke.....i found that to be another good key when done side by side....ne1 got any advice for the man?

thanks family i thought it was me but it's not. i think it was the green house seeds. the bubba kush was not what i thought it would be. and the vanilla kush was the same. dont buy the vanilla kush or bubba kush it's not worth the money or time. i would like to try DJ SHORT flo.

I use this product called SWEET all during flowering, you might give that a try. I swear by it!

The problem is too many people saying 'MY BUBBA KUSH FROM GHS IS FIIIIREEE!!!' when they know that couldn't be further from the truth. I give you props for this post, if more people were honest, less people would be pissed off about growing greenhouse strains, because less people would buy them. Hopefully this deters someone in the future from buying that fake ass Bubba Kush.

Get some new genetics and start fresh bro. I'm sure your skills are on point and you should be able to enjoy that after harvest.
