Why won't my seeds grow

so basically i took some good seeds and left them in a soaked papertowel outside for 3 days. then i put the seeds completely in water for a night. put them in exspensive soil, and its been like 5 days and they havnt sprouted. i put pointy end up, been keeping the soil nice and damp too. wtf is up?:peace:

its a ghetto but cheap way ...... i hung damp paper towels on a wire it will raise it 10 - 15 % u just have to keep them wet and away from electrics it works trust it ... then i devised a wick like system using the paper towels in water hanging ill get you a pi some time soon
