Why Would Plant Show Sex in Veg?

hey, i had to take a trip for what i thought would be less than 7 days, but one thing as led to another and i have been away for 10 day and probably not going to be able to return for another week.
anyways, i have someone that was supposed to be tending my garden, but i couldnt get ahold of him for the past 5 days and when i did this was what i saw.
o and i have these plants in veg state, not 12/12 so what would cause the plant that mysteriously knocked itself over to basically have what look like male flowers in bloom?
the plants are in dire need of transplant, but he doesnt know how. htey were suposed to be getting 5 ml of humbolt nutrients grow formula, per gal of ph'd water, i made the nutes for him before i left and he has had to remake them since.
im pretty sure im screwed, but when i do get back i am going to transplant and try to salvage at least a few mothers, thre are 33 strains, jackie-o, twog, and c-red. so 3 salvageable moms?
o he also forgot when i told him about moving the light, so he just moved it about 2 feet up, then they grew into the light, burning them! so he raised it again, by another 3 FEET causing more stretch than iv eseen.

they are bound for sure, but they also have some auto affie in them, but not that particular one, that is jack the ripper x Ogre, that is showing the male flower. the aufto was suposed to be backcrossed ouut also, these are f'\2's. i grew the f'1 from these last run and had great results.

There's always a chance to get it from recessive traits even if bred out imo

Ok thinking about this this is what I would do. Get a wire brush and some turpentine then smack the fuck out of your "friend" with a bat to knock him out then tie him up and run the brush vigorously on his twig and berries until bleeding, wait for him to wake up and then pour the turpentine on his balls. Ahhhhh I feel better.......

Ok this is really what I would do. Toss everything that looks like total shit keeping everything that looks somewhat normal. This will do 2 things, it will take away the carnage that so that you will not have to look at because this is one of those times where you really have to ask yourself " do I want to nurse plants right now?" and 2 it will allow you to focus on the nicer looking ones making you feel better about the whole mess. Do your house cleaning, transplant what you need to and clean up the ones you are saving and move on. This sucks but this one you just have to move on from and learn from the mistakes. Keep us informed as to how it ends up. I heard Home Depo has wire brushes on sale.

Ah I suppose your right but sometimes friends let you down and this upon further review is both their faults. I just cant believe that the guy had that big of brown thumb.

i only blame him for avoiding my calls. these probles could have been avoided. and it cost me and his father greatly. there was no way of avoiding the trip.
having him wate with just wate, bottled water if i can get some. hopefully i will be able t flush and salvagea few.

Among other things, it looks like the lights were left off for a long time, or a very irregular schedule at the very least.

I'm scared to entrust someone to just water my plants once...like on a 4 day weekend or something. It is amazing how people can let shit get out of hand quickly.
