Will 2 400w be enough for a 5x5 area?

I have 1 1000w and 2 400w lights and was wondering if the 2 400's will be fine or should I use the 1000w or even 2 1000w's? Running a 25 station drip system and a 25 gal res (which I might run 2 25gal res). Some helpful input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I did a little research on this as i just got a 5x5, im gonna run with two 600's since i already have one. Two 400's would be fine, but a 1000 would be a lot better, and 2 1000's would be marginally better than 1 1000. If you can control dat heat

Id go with the 2 600 watters.

most efficient lumens/watt and theyre more than half the heat 1000watters. Plus youll be able to get them closer and there will be better dispersion of light because of the 2 seperate focal points instead of a single one.

budbro is right, in my case I am currently using 2 Gavitas PRO 1000 and they dont create that much heat. I am on a sealed room and is cooled down by an AC unit 15k BTUs. Now 600 Vs 1000 on my gavita it matters. But other brands maybe like budbro said, most efficient lumens/watt. 600 is the way to go. BTW the gavitas are dimable from 600 watts to 1150 watts =)
