Will a burnt stem cause the bud to die?!

Hey guys,
To start:

killer skunk CFL grow, 18 days into flowering

so today my light fell onto my plant and rested on the stem of a kola and on a couple of smaller kolas at the LOWER part of the plant. The white hairs on the smaller kolas definatly look burnt somewhat but i wouldnt say dead. As for the stem, it was holding up quite a nice budsite and now the effected area (about an inch of stem) has burned and shrunk in girth. The burn is at the end of quite a long node at the end bud. The actual bud looks healthy still, but the stem has wilted and the bud is facing downwards. Is there any chance that this bud will recover and work its way back towards the light? it is only 18 days into 12/12 but has already got small buds developing, i really dont want to lose this bud, do i need to take any action?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

If it just started making buds, then the burned will probably stay burned but new hairs and shoots will probablly come out of that bud site :)

sweet man does that mean the stem might recover and be able to support it again because as i said before its facing the floor at the moment?

try a bamboo like support,if it doesnt look like its going to develop a knuckle or be able to support itself then you can just snip the burned part and make her a clone.
