Nah... it should still fire. The thing I've read about cracked HID lamps is that the glass is what shields the UV radiation so if it is cracked.... more UV will get through..... good for MJ bad for you.

Now I have had a car head light cracked and even a fishbowl inside of it. (Yup, water sloshing around in it ) and it still worked. Was dim, but not ticket worthy.
