Will a Plant preflower before the 12/12?

I'm just wondering if a female plant will preflower/show stigma when the light cycle is still at 18? If it does should I leave the light cycle at 18 or switch to 12/12?

yes your plants will show sex as pre-flowers when they reach maturity, typically at around 4-6wks old from germ under 18/6 they will show either small female calyx's with two white hairs protruding out or small round balls for a male, but be carefull female calyx's dont always have the hairs or pistils at first and can be easily mistaken for a male, so if you see balls wait a bit longer to ensure no hairs come out and be sure its a male before you chop it or whatever. you can flower whenever your ready to really, just depends on what size final plant your after and what kinda yeild your looking for.....

mine did today I am really excited. Everyone was telling me you have to wait for 12/12 to be able to tell sex and pre flower and mine started today but I am on week 6 and I am still 18/6

if you want to find out when plants are 12in or taller tall 12/12 them
than put back on 18/6 to veg again
it takes about 10 days to sex
than another 10 or so to start veg again
pepole do this when they have a number of plant so they dont have to trans males .
and males dont take up valuable floor space

my plants always show sex around 12"-14 tall without going to 12/12, just straight 18/6, if your vegging beyond 12" theres no need to stress the plant out like that?

Ok so now that I am ready to flower should I get a different Fert other then the one I have been using? Currently I am using one that is 24-8-16. Is that even a good combo?

that is veg fert
you need somthing like a 15 30 15
high middle number

I will get some and when my plants show more promise I will post up more pics.

Do you have any other hints for me? Like I heard if you pinch the growing shoot it will result in a bigger cola?

just because you are preflower you still can veg till you are ready for 12/12 than change fert

The material I got at the beginning of all this was a book by Mel Frank (with the color photos) and the book talks about second harvest. I have never heard about this before reading it in that book. Once I found this site I searched for it but I get a internal search error. And I have not seen it anywhere else!
Are there pictures floating around of people doing this mystical second harvest?

Edit: Sorry for the rush of questions. Really though I could probley ask questions all night and still not come close to covering everything I still dont know, but want to.

i did not have the net to turn too
and books where far and few be tween.
ok a clone/ seed rooting/seedling stage for about 3week
veg 3 weeks or as long as you want it
bud 6 to 10 weeks depnding on stain even 12 or more
harvest all buds ....but leave fan leaves on plant
put back on 18/6 or 24 hr ..
in about 2 weeks it will start to grow again
yeild will be lower

I cant imagine I just finally turned to the internet. I am still paraniod though. It amazes me how much some people show on here.

there is alot of info on here alot for all growers to read ..
the thc should be the same..
i have got areveged leda uno outside right now it is very late to flower ..
not sure if it had anything to do with reveg as much as strain
