Will an incandescent light mess with light cycle?

Im 2 weeks into 12/12 and still no pre flowers the only light that could be getting into the grow area is an incandescent light. I can easily fi that problem if that's why my plant isn't flowering yet.
the plant is 6 weeks old from seed
im using a 150 watt HPS

yes, it can have an effect...i would fix it.
