ok guys this is my first grow. due to the room mates, i thought it would be a good idea to build a grow box.... i started by going to a pawn shop and picking up large sony speakers which i will hollow out and combine them so the dimensions will be 7.5"x26.5"x 3' tall. i have seen people online grow plants in housings shorter than this but i had a buddy tell me due to the shornes i will only be able go get a couple bowls out of the plant when harvested. this scares me becasue i have already invested money in the housing and in fans. i cant decide whether to just do a conventional dirt grow or construct a hydroponics unit. like i said this is my first time so any information helps. is this unit even worth it? if so what kind of lights should i get? what strain should i try and get? anything will help~thanks
