will i hurt my plants if i flower them too early?

i have 2 plants that are 2 weeks old they are both showing fan leaves, i have limited grow space so i need them not to grow to tall. so my question is, if i put them into a 12/12 light cycle now to make them flower early and stop them from growing too high will they be alright and will they produce sufficient buds.

the only thing it will hurt is your yield, they wont bud till they are mature anyways but itle jump start the process

I would LST first. Flowering at 2 weeks is possible, but not advisable. Save space with LST.

General rule of thumb is plants will get about 3 times their veg size during flowering by harvest
