Will I pass my Meps drug test?

Ive posted this on a few sites and im just trying to get the most information. Meps is a Military Entrance Processing Station. you go there before joining the military

Okay everyone reading I know you will have some judgements but what is done is done and I know what youre going to say. Ive already heard everything that can be said. Trust me.

Now Im going to be very honest. I already took my drug test at meps. I was confident I was going to pass it up until I got to meps because their scare tactics work better than you think. Well I smoked exactly 35 days ago or actually it could have been 38 days. on the last day I smoked it was just a few hits from a very small pipe, I had smoked the week before and that was all that previous week with a few kind of small blunts. 4 total but only 2 blunts at different times. and I a of couple bowls between those days. Before all of my smoking I hadn't smoked in three months and that was only one blunt with my sister and her friend. (older sister btw) and before that I hand't smoked in a year. The weed wasnt the best but it wasnt ****. I weigh 173 lbs and im 5 11. I drank a gallon of cranberry juice before i left and the day at the hotel and the previous 3 days I drank over 8-9 big *** glasses of water. I barely got any exercise but I had been outside doing yardwork and stuff so I sweated a little.

I dont know if i passed or not yet. If you fail then they send you a letter in the mail and It's been killing me since I wont know unless i get a letter and that wont be for a little while. Im just wondering if anyone thinks I have a chance of passing. The DoD UA test are definitely better than a home drug test. A lot of people pass home tests but fail the meps one. Someone just please help me ease my mind.

You will be fine. 35 days is plenty for me to get clean and I smoke all day every day. I also used to be in the Army, and I was the units UPL (unit prevention leader), so i administered the tests (I know hyprocitical me, lol but I wasnt smoking while I was in), they test for the same cut off level as most places, 50ng. No worries man.

You should be good..remember running burns fat which will get it out your system that much faster. Time to stop smoking once you in...Don't risk your carer on a joint

One time it took me 40 days to show up clean. But, I smoke a lot. Cranberry juice doesn't really help either. But, you may be good. You should try not to risk yourself when you know that if you fail your life plan will be very different than what you thought.

I passed a random military drug test 10 days after smoking. Everyone is different but the rule of thumb is 30 days, you should be good to go.

It's random, but it's not 100% once you are in.
They would go off the last number in your social security
so if your number came up (and every one elses with the same last digit) you all got piss tested. But then they would only test 1 out of 10 of those samples. So in reality they were only testing 1% every time

Yup USAF operates off of odd and even...If your squadron is the lucky people to get called to pee, it will depend on your last SS number. Then again only some of those are tested. Now I have seen where some guy gets caught and they test again sometime soon and most people he/she hang with will somehow get picked to be included in that group.

If you get caught. It will no longer be random. And yes they can look at who you hang with off base

Pointing out the irony of a country that endorsed slavery, occupies a good bit of the world by force and alleges to be about "freedom" piss tests soldiers for pot and has the highest prison population in the world to boot. I'm saying in many instances the military does not bring or protect freedom, instead it brings threats to people all over the world.

He hates his mom and dad as well

They once told him to clean his room.
He figured since it was his room he didnt have to clean it. But then they reminded him that they pay the mortgage, utilities and the food he eats. Which upset him becuase he figured they were oppressing him.

Yeah he is that kind of guy.

If I remember correctly, if you fail the initial test for mj you get to try again 30 days later. I remember hearing something like that in MEPS briefing.

In MEPS 100% of the people get tested. If you pass it you get in. If not then you don't. What they will probably do, which, I have actually been in MEPS to witness, is take away any of the incentives like signing bonuses or educational funding. Basically they get the opportunity to fuck your career up and control you more.

You might be okay, you might not. A military drug test is more stringent than most. A drug test for a normal job is usually flagged as positive at over 50 nano grams, some allow as high as 100 before they flag it as positive. The military considers anything over 10 nano grams as a failure. Back when I smoked schwag it took me 45 days to get my levels low enough to pass a meps drug test and I was pretty skinny back then too. A few years back I tested at about 180 nano grams and that was smoking good weed daily.

Your recruiter should know if you passed or failed about a week after you take the test. I don't remember them sending a letter but they might have.

The recruiter once he finds out if you failed will realize that he did a bunch of work for nothing and will not let you know until you finally call and ask. But, that is if they decide not to waive your signing bonus and that you are a lost cause.

That's weird. My recruiter definitely called me and told me I failed. And he kept on me. Taking urine samples to be tested and once my levels were low enough to pass a meps test I was right back in the process. And I got my bonuses. And I got to use my MGIB after I was out.
