Will it keep growing or die?

So I put this lil baby in about a week and a half ago and it started growing a lil funny so I was moving it because without moving it the roots would have grown towards the light. The end of it looked all dry and like it maybe got crushed. The tip of it looked completely dead after about a day. (First picture) Then I cut it off and left the rest because the rest of it looked pretty healthy I thought. Will this baby keep growing or die?
