Will low temps slow down bud growth?

Im growing a sativa strain and it doesnt seem to be forming quite as fast as i am seeing plants build up..
temps dropping to 50 is definately a concern, and im using a 400w hps.. Let me kno wat you think!

Ok so i take it your in flowering and the temps are like that?
its just io thought the plants were used to it since its been the same temps the whole grow, 50 at night and 75/80 for light period..
I thought that it may be coz my plants are real busy so it has more sites to fill out..could that be so?, does it make a difference? also coz its a sativa plant and i heard they take longer..

HELP

Here they are, im now concerned that it was heat stress because i had my hps 10 centimetres away from the plant because i thought thte plant could handle it, not i have moved it away to 1 foot (30cm), top leaves seem deformed nd the bud is growing slower than plants i have seen.
Help, what can i do to fix it? |Also the top cola seems real floppy could be from heat stress?
THE BIGGEST IS MY MAIN CONCERN

OOPS here they are,

Takee no notice of the smaller ones there just 12/12 from seed. Would u say the big one is a good looking plant or do u see wat i meen?

I cant speak to your pics exactly, but last grow my temps were horribly low, and i yielded about 3 oz less than usual. I attribute it to be low temps, and not proper rez changes. I went away and left the same nutes for over two weeks.
