Whats wrong with my plant? Will it live through this?

Wondering what might be wrong with my plant here. It's going to be 2 weeks old in 2 days and the leaves have been drooping and yellowing which I thought was over watering so I did what I read was best online and let it use up the water and slowly started to water it again. It has plenty of light as far as Lummens per FT. Since I have watered it again it has just started to get worse and worse. If anyone has any idea of what could be going wrong please help me out. I'm simply trying to get a very small plant out of it because I don't have a lot of extra safe space right now. Thanks for taking your time to read and help. I appreciate it. I have attached some pictures.

welcome to RIU @SPL37 - it looks like you're over watering it, and they really don't need to be fed for at least the first 3 or 4 weeks, sometimes a bit longer. let it dry out a bit and the next time you water (at this young seedling stage) just add a tablespoon or two of water. what kind of soil are you using?

Will she live yes will she thrive like she should no Just chuck this one up to a lesson learned IMO Lots of us have had to learn these lessons the hard way so just learn from your mistakes and move on good luck to you and I hope things turn around for you in the future Peace

Had exactly same issue with 3 of mine (and still ongoing). Decided to leave em be for now and germ new ones. As soon as new ones over take I'll bin them and replace with new seeds.
Got 2 new seeds in small pots now and gonna water with next nothing for a few weeks (table spoon or so).
Had 0 growth no matter what I've tried for over a week now. Jusr dull curled leaves and no growth.

Chalk it up to exp and ease back on the watering bud.

I started out with just 1 100W CFL about 10" away which is why she stretched. As soon as I saw it stretch like that I added a 200W and 2 more 100W about 6" away now.

Do you guys think if I were to transplant it into some dry soil it could possibly bounce back? I would chuck it and move on but its the only seed I have.

you only need 1 100W CFL about about 2-3" above the plant

Will do. What I'll do is try to transplant and barely water. maybe if it doesnt get better in a week I'll start to add nutrients since it will be about 3 weeks old by then.

here my 5 seedling under 40 watts of light

most new growers over water there plants, maybe you are but the soil looks dry and you have the plant lifted up so the water can drain away easy, the pots small so its harder to overwater

how often do you water the plant ?

She definitely overwatered. You can tell by the way shes drooping. I like to wait till the soil is almost bone dry. Then water. When pot is dry it will feel much lighter than when watered. Secondly shes stretching which signals light too far away. Try to get it within a couple of inches. Shes still so with the right adjustments shell survive, bounce back and hopefully thrive. Good luck.

How'd you get on ... is she a dud? One of mine is bouncing back. 1 definitely looks like it's gonna be compost. Other I'm not sure about.

Sorry for not getting back to you faster. I let the soil become bone dry and then added two tea spoons with nutrients and its definitely bouncing back. I already have 4 more leaves starting to poke out. I also dropped 3 lights and am only using 1 100W Daylight CFL and it seems to like that better. I will be transplanting it soon and hopefully it doesn't get shocked
