will smoking weed after a workout..

inhibit my muscle growth? im sure it's going to have an effect, but I guess my real question is does anybody smoke after they workout and feel like it makes a striking difference in progress? :idea:

ive lifted weights since i was a teenager(probably the reason for my stalkiness) and have been smoking weed for just as long. I wonder if I would be that much larger/stronger if I hadn't smoked away all those workouts afterwards?

p.s. i smoke before a workout, atleast 75% of the time:weed:

Ive found smoking before workouts dampers my performance in the gym
I used to be a wanabe strongman..but ive gotten past that stage

But smoking weed after IMO and in what ive heard dosent have any effect on muscle growth or strength at all..Keep on smokin!

How in the holy hell would smoking weed after a workout inhibit muscle development?

Smoking BEFORE, now that's a different story, but only because you're not going to work out as hard when you're stoned.

you should smoke after workout...it helps you relax...and helps you sleep...sometimes if u work out you sometimes have trouble sleeping...keep smoking..helps a lot..

Say what you will about smoking before, but I used always get baked before working out and found with the right mind set it was easier to push yourself because well…. You forget that your working out and do mad reps. So point is smoke and don’t get lazy!

i use to weight 320 before i started smoking and ive been smoking for 6 months and i weight 270 now =o so im not a fat chod anymore, but anyway i went to the gym the first like 2 months of smoking and i did this all the time. love smoking and working out.

alright. i guess i was just mixing up rumors of the sort; i heard that smoking tobacco can stunt growth(bone or muscle) so I wondered if it was the smoke in general, or the tobacco. I don't smoke cigarettes anymore as of 6 months ago. and truely feel a difference(especially in my breathing). and i am no pansy, i am just a little more health conscious now. i wouldn't switch up my smoking regiment if someone exposed weed and inhibiting muscle growth, i was just trying to learn a little something, thanks for the responses :-D
