Will the buds swell?

By the looks of things the bottoms buds are swell and crystally with some amber ........while the top buds are small, lots of hairs but not much bud, mostly cloudy and clear mix. Will the top of the buds also swell up like the bottom?

Shouldn't the top be more grown than the bottom? As most searches I've seen have showed people cutting the big cola's leaving the bottom ones to ripen. Where as it looks like this girl is the opposite?

Pics wouldn't just help in this case they are mandatory. Smaller top colas with nice bottom buds? Include your container in the pic and then tell us the story. Lights, air handling, humidity, nutrients etc.

Yes some plants take longer to mature than others, pure sativas can continue to grow vertically for as long as 10-12 weeks. Sometimes the bottoms will mature faster than the tops just wait it out and check the trichomes once the tops start to mature a little more.

Some plants might mature bottom up, some top down, but bottom buds larger than top?

Is this plant growing upside down?

haha, she's upside up alright! If you cut the plant into three sections, top - middle - bottom, then this is how it went:

bottom bud's seemed as swell as they would get and have turned over pretty orange hairs and are cloudy. middle were half swell have stringy, top was stringy.

Now..about 2 weeks later, bottom are looking nice and frosty, middle are started to swell and pistils are orange about 50%.. top bud's still look a little think with lots of white pistils.....which leaves me to believe they need a few more days?

In overall size the top buds are still larger than the rest, but they are stringy and hairy where as the rest as swollen/real frosty/orange+white pistils. Tops are also less frosty!
Illget pics as soon as possible

I've come to the conclusion that the top buds aren't ready quite yet. However to my surprise the bottoms bud's and buds that did NOT make it to the top of the canopy look ready and have begun falling over with their own weight. Should I harvest what looks ready? Leaving the top cola's to finish off?

First is a top. Second two are bottoms. Sorry for cam qualT/ they were macro's though :(.

How close is the 400 watt and where exactly are you reading the temp from? It should be from right at the canopy level, that is basically where it should be the warmest.

What else do you have for ventilation\air circulation? 4" inline doesn't explain much, how big is this room and how are you venting it? You don't want hotspots or lousy air movement.

4x3.5x5.5ft. box in a room. Have a big oscillating fan for movement. Passive intake about 4x4. Plus leave space @door for some more passive intake. It's poly tent.

Maybe you can offer me some advice? :)

Wow seriously?!! 12weeks to flower? Was hoping 2moreweeks tops. But really don't want to cut early! Can I cut those bud's that look ready, or are they not ready yet....referring to the other pics of the bottom ones *they're about 15amber/rest are cloudy. (100x scope)

Not a big deal at all... Harvest those bottom buds first. Do it in one fell swoop, though. Too much cutting at this point = too much stress.

I see this will "stress" the plant. But would this make the plant focus more energy towards what is left on her....like lollipop'ing?

no. after about the second week flower the plant wont be able to redirect energy to the other bud points when some are cut off
