It doesn't matter as long as you're able to obtain what you're shooting for. Make sure to monitor each time you water or feed. I always use ph water to 5.5-6.0 no matter what (soil). In most cases you only need ph down. If you really want to save money buy the extra large.Word. I mean im gonna be using FFOF. gonna start in a 2 gallon pot. ok see you can probably help me out. Here's where im confused. So i use the ph 600 meter from milwaukee. So i go and buy some distilled water. And when im adding my ph down or whatever(since distilled water is 7) then I thought your suppose to ph the water for the range you want. Like isnt between like 6.4-6.8 ideal for MJ?It doesn't matter as long as you're able to obtain what you're shooting for. Make sure to monitor each time you water or feed. I have seen different level of ph making people happy, results will depends on the water you use, the medium, the nuts and probably the strain. Personally I don't like distilled water which in my opinion lack the essentials the plant need, we are lucky enough to have good water here and I use filtered tap water. I keep my ph at 5.5. to 6.0 but keep in mind I'm in soil. I always monitor the ph just in case there is a variation with the water. No matter what, look at your plant, if you see leaves are kinda twisted or in a "S" shape, your have the wrong ph, leaves close on themselves and twist especially the new growth since they are still very tender. I have also been adding some drip clean from house garden to avoid salt built up and with great results.ok see you can probably help me out. Here's where im confused. word. at my work I can get spring bottled water in a gallon for 80 cents so hopefully it wont cost much haha. Also, so when ph'ing my water. Do I ph the water to the level I want in the soil?Distilled water is H2O in its pure form. This means that essentials organic or not have been removed during the single or double distillation process. According Wiki, Essentials organic are carbonates, chlorides, phosphates, silicates, sulfides, and sulfates of calcium, iron, lithium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and other metals ... All these nutrients are vital for your plant to strive. Spring water is water that was filtered but are generally still containing the essentials, that's a way to go but it won't be cheap. If you can, get a filter and work with your tap water, it will be cheaper!
