Hello All,
First post, I want to thank everyone that has provided so much information that I have been able to search through for any question or problem I have had during my first grow. I have ran into an issue that I couldn't find an answer to in a search for the first time.
I have built a window box around my window for fresh air, and to cool 6 1000w lights. The fresh air is through a passive 4" hole at the bottom corner of the box, with can filter/exhaust out of room on, fresh air can lightly be felt blowing in. 2 rows of lights each have 10" max fan that are T"d together at the top of the window box and then ran through 8" ducting down the length of the box and pulls air from the bottom of the box to cool lights. The lights air exits the room to keep the system closed.
My problem is during the cold night, I start to get a fair amount of condensation along the length of the 8" ducting, all the way from the bottom of the window box, up the side and basically all the way to where it t"s to the the 2 10in ducting. In the daytime the condensation is not present. I've tried to cut holes on the ducting close to the window box to possibly have any condensation drip into a bucket which works somewhat, but the problem Is still present. The humidity is around 40%. The room temp is 70-85 degrees depending on outside temp.
Any ideas or suggestions would be great.
Thanks guys!!!
