winter heat

hi everybody i was just smoking and thinking about the winter and how cold its going to be so i will be cranking up the heat.so isnt heat + 400hps to hot for growing and if so how can i fix this problem?the room is 4ft/6ft/8ft tall and 1 in-line fan at the bottom to bring air in from inside the same closet because my grow room and closet are split up in two but in the same closet.plus i have a blower connected to a carbon scrubber that blows grow room air into another closet right beside it.if this will help to answer my question:joint:

Do you have a heater vent in your grow room? If not, then it wont be too much of a problem but i would monitor the temp

Maybe it's the bongsmilie, but I don't get this. Even when it gets cold outside and heat comes on, it is probably still lower temperature inside than in summer or before heat came on, right? Here, in summer we use AC to keep it down to maybe 75 and in winter heat to about 70.

So where is the problem? If the temp with heat on gets up to where the temp was with the heat off..... turn down the heat?

since we are on heat is it tru that its a thermal blanket like cover for your grow light so the heli cant pick up the heat?

Doesnt matter if it's winter and the heats blowing or summer with the a/c most people keep their houses near the same temps year round with help from the thermostat. Now if like me you have your op upstairs then shutting off vents will help control the ambient temp. Plants like a similar temp that humans like (plants may like it a touch warmer) so if the room doesnt feel too hot for you then the plants should be fine but a thermometer would make it easier.

Just keep a close eye on things til you get into the winter groove so to speak.
