Winter storage

I am living in Canada, our temperatures get pretty low during winter, been storing my harvest outside in airtight containers this summer, but winter is coming, is there any chance that freezing temperature swings ruin my buds?

I would certainly think it has degraded a decent amount.
For sure.... If my house gets over 75° in the summer jars go into the freezer. I couldn't imagine having the temps swing everyday. That can't be good for any consumable product. The change of temp making the buds sweat in a closed jar or whatever it's stored in ... Yikes

My buddy used to do this. Then chop it on a block with a butcher knife! Lol. Ah the old days....
The squishing is why I just vac my jars now. Keeps the buds nice and unsquished.
I knew they were going to get squished. It's all still there. I don't really care what it looks like. I'm just going to break it up and smoke it anyway.

Bet it’s almost the same when you open it as it was when you sealed it.
I know it will be. I've done this before and a year later it was the same as when I packed and froze it. Takes up less space in the freezer and gives me more room for meat and other foodstuffs.
