So I kno a couple of things but is there any truth to trimming the little flowering hairs to make them bloom thicker

No i mean when it's in flower and it starts to show signs of flowering trim them white hairs just the tips though

Are you sure you arent talking about topping?

No, don't trim the white hairs (pistils).

You can cut tops of the plants off (best done in veg but can be done in the first weeks of flowering) and it does increase the thickness and bushiness of the plant.
