Wont stop growing

last week i flipped over to 12-12,and my plant is still growing as if i never turned off the lights. i see a few hairs on my stalks,but i'm starting to run out of room in my tent. should i turn off the lights for 24-48 hours to stunt its growth a bit? And cfl's dont run as cool as everyone else says they do. it grow up to one of the bulbs and it burnt a leaf. any ideas would be helpfull. ill post a pic so you can see the set up.

Who told you cfl' run cool? Lol hell no bro thats alot of heat spread across the foliage so be sure to catch the close bulb before anything grows into it. It still gets hot with power.

Also, i believe you are experiencing flower pre-stretch. The first 2/3 weeks of flower the tops stretch for light after that it usually slows down.

Do A little lst training and all will be good. Like SPL said it will slow down in a couple of weeks.
