**WORMS Eating My Cannabis Plant**

Hey Guys,

As the title states, I have found many caterpillars in different colors, green, yellow and brown eating up my beautiful plant from the inside out that is about 2 weeks away from harvest.

I noticed bud rot today in many parts of the plant and every time I removed the rot there was a worm inside the buds.

QUESTION: Is there a remedy to this problem this late in flower?

I am afraid that even if I harvest now and dry, there may be some caterpillars inside the buds after drying and curing.

Any input or guidance is greatly appreciated.

I've had those mother fuckers. They are terrible. They are in your soil too by now. They are inside the stems and come out at n8ght. U got to catch em.at night. By the looms of it it's nearly too late to save her.

If it was me I'd harvest any buds that are still green and shitcan the rest...been there done that...so sorry...g/l

Get some BT going in your grow much earlier next season.

Grab a flashlight and remove them manually.

If not, you can start to look at sprinkling cornmeal. This is a natural solution to remove them without damaging the garden as a whole.

I'd steer away from the chemicals.

Look at it thoroughly during the day, you'll see little piles of chewed up stem right where they are at inside of the stem. Get a fine razor blade, cut a slit by where the pile of chewed up debris is, and pick out the worm, then electric tape around where you cut. They are called corn borers.

Thanks for all the input and feedback from everyone but the plant is DEAD.

Chopped it down today and going in the firepit later this week.

Lesson learned is that PREVENTATIVE action must be taken early in the plant /clones life by spraying it with natural caterpillar killer all the way through mid flowering so the worms cannot feast nor lay eggs on the plant.

I am starting my next outdoor plant now and will apply these hard lessons learned.

Lost probably close to half pound to these dang worms... but the lesson is more valuable than that particular harvest

You need to spray bt. Also if you missed any of the worms you will probably get bud rot. Be prepared to lose a good amount of bud.

**UPDATE**

Chopped the caterpillar infested plant almost 2 weeks ago and tossed 99% of it in the fire pit.( It was smokey and smelled for miles)

Kept about 2 grams and it is POTENT and STRONG even without a proper cure at 12 days from chop.

I have this strain from other harvests and the effects do not match these couple of grams I was able to salvage. I am not sure if it was because the plant was literally being eaten alive by worms or what that released extra high levels of cannabinoids.
