Worst timing

So here I am about 10 days before my harvest date for two of my plants and I just got notified by my employer that I am required to be out of town until the end of Oct. This really fucks up my harvesting. My boss asked if there was any reason I wouldnt be able to go away and I wanted to tell him my dope plants are almost ready for harvest. I dont think Id have to worry about leaving then, but I also would find myself out of work.

I have 5 months of work put into these ladies and I have to cut two of them down early and leave my biggest one in the hands of a trusted companion.So now I have to leave this person with instructions on when to cut my last plant and how to hang it a week before I get home. I also have to instruct them how to cure my dope after a 6-7 day dry and how to check for dead leaves,mold,moisture ect.... on my last plant. Its hard leaving them in someone elses hands even though I trust the person.

If I don't the chance later I'd also like to thank this community, I never would have gotten this far without the help and mountains of resources found on this site. I'm so sad I don't get to see my plants right through to the end but I'm already looking forward to next years outdoor season. And at least when I get home Ill have some nicely cured and ready to smoke herb, plus my 8 foot baby hanging in my drying room waiting for me.

So wish me luck and hope my garden gets dried,cured and chopped properly without my being there.

Ive lost friends in similar manners...it may be a recepie for disaster....

Employment > Weed Sorry to tell you this.. but I feel that this is just the cold hard facts of life. Trust your friend. Give him explicit instructions, even if he steals some weed you will still have your job AND weed in the end. good luck!

Yeah that's a tough one I totally agree with Rich I've lost friends this way too, I don't leave or trust my plants with any one other than Family....(PERIOD) So maybe you should leave them and pull at the end of October, perhaps get your friend to just water them if this person knows you have the plant anyway, then when they know your gone it could be a recipe for disaster. So yeah perhaps you best trust your friend to atleast take care of it until you get back. That or pull it right before you leave and let it hang dry while your gone. Sorry voodo that is a tough one, only you can say if it will work or not. What does your instinct tell you, do you have a good or bad feeling about trusting this person to not take your shit or microwave dry a bunch everyday until you get back.
