Would it be possible to transplant outdoors late Sept/ early October and have succesful harvest

Mexican schwag seeds, will have preflowers in a few weeks (currently have a couple sets of leaves). Would it be possible to transplant these outdoors in time to have a successful harvest? I'm not sure if genetics sourced from Mexico are exposed to cold, so the threat of mold I worry about.

Where I live, South Louisiana:

Sept: 89f avg high, 69f avg low, 4.53 precip
October: 81f avg high, 58f avg low, 4.69 precip
November: 72f avg high, 49f low, 4.09 precip, first frost average Nov 21- Nov 30
December: 64f avg high, 43f low, 5.59 precip

If you harden them off first....I don't see why not.

They should start to flower as soon as you put them out, assuming they are at least 4-5 weeks old. You will be looking at 9-10 weeks from there. Some of my late transplants are just now starting to flower here in NW Florida, so I won't be that far behind you. Good luck.

And last year we were several weeks late on our first killing frost.

Yes mold would be your problem.late harvest can be colorful n tasty.green house a lot air movement. Many tricks.confidence n skill n asking
