Damn finally came across a fellow SoCal native...but yeah im gonna go for it, maybe a 400 watt one tho instead, but i just needed to know if htg was legit...now i kno...good lookin for the advice everyone:weed:

HTG has great customer sevice! I had a ballast blow up( my fault it was on a 240 line) They sent a new one no questions asked! Im about to order 2 600s in cooltubes. Come on tax return!

IMHO htg supply is the BEST online hydro retailer man..them and BG Hydro..Ive never used bg hydro,but I heard only good things about them....but ive used htg supply countless times,theyr stuff is fairly cheap,and while they might not have all the fancy brand name shit,theyr service is truly outstanding,they stand behind their warranty no matter what,and if you have any questions,tony weill email u back fast....my fav productsa from them is their 400w hps lights and p-ll 55w t-5 light..im using it eright now,and the spectrum is BLUE....i had my 2500l cfls next to them,and you can CLEARLY see the diffrence....the light looks almost BLUE from far....great for vegging man!!!

yeah i checked out bghydro too, one of their retail stores is right in my city, they both seem great, but htg is cheaper, and yall are pumpin me up to buy from them right now lol all this good shit im hearin, i might buy two 400 watt hps/mh...iono if i wanna drop that amount of cash tho right now

4real bro? I got like 6 cool white fluoro tubes right now....ive just been sold on the MH conversion...they say its sooo worth it for vegging and what not, but I guess I could just fuck with the 400 or 600 watt hps, and add those flouros...do the hps hurt the vegging at all?

listen dont get me wrong..if u can afford a 400w or 600 system with mh converiosn bulbs AND KEEP IT COOL ENOUGH...then BUY IT....your plants will veg way faster under a mh light then a hps,since the spectrum is more on the "blue" side....however,if ur short on cash,u can just veg under fluros....epsecially the htg supply 78$ t-5 system..i have one,and theyr GREAT!!!:hump::hump:

yeah fuck that, ima just get a straight hps one...iono which one yet...cuz ive heard the MH conversion ones be blowin up and gettin wayyyyy to hot like you said, so ill just vegg with the hps i buy and some flouros on the side...thanks for the advice juicyjay

Waddya save on just the MH vs the MH/HPS?
I personally thought the minimal dollars diff was worth the x-tra capabilities.
Even if you don't need it now, it's nice to have that option in the future.

either way with a 400w light..you can always just get the 400w mh coversion bulb..i just dont see the diffrence..atleast for me..sincxe i grow sog style with no veg time,just clones strgiht into flowering as soon as they root....i get around 10 dry ounces per 400w hps light...:hump:

well ive just heard that the hps/mh are bad because they have different power wattage levels or some shit like that, im no electrician haha but i dont want my house burning down lmao
