That will be hot as hell with the open hood and the ballast on it too.

it plugs into a standard wall socket and its way easier to keep cooler temps in your room plus its easier on the wallet.

Don't go cheap on high wattage grow equipment.
Just save up and get legit, warrenty protected items. Those ballast give off fucked up signals that fucks with the cable..
bulbs burn out... ballasts over heat... no man...
Save up... it'll save you drama.. hastle.. and maybe even your freedom.

That adapter has a lot of negative reviews. I would find something for a couple hundred dollars. You get what you pay for

I would pass on both items. if you wont need 220 unless you run more then 1 light. and it wont save you money, just uses less amps. buy one of these. they are good shit. also buy the hortilux bulbs, best money can buy my opinion, https://www.htgsupply.com/Product-Digital-Greenhouse-600-watt-HPS-Grow-Light

I've heard good things about ushio bulbs. Never used em tho. Always been a hortilux guy myself but thinking about going ushio next change out.
