Bottom line it needs to be around 70*. Wether you keep it under ground, inside, on a chiller or whatever. Dwc and aero are temp sensitive. Go with drip or ebb and flow if you dont want to worry about temps. WM
I have the ebb and grow. I only bought the brain bucket or controller bucket whatever you call it. I took the controller box and sensors and wired it to a 5 gallon bucket. The 2 or 3 gal buckets it came with are crap imo. Im doing a 9 bucket system in a 4x4 tent. The only thing is I should of used a 7 gal bucket for the controller and will probably end up switching here pretty soon.
Cheap?? $300-350 for a 1/10 hp. Not too cheap imo. I made a 3/4 hp for cheap but most people dont have the skills to build a refrigeration unit from scratch. please link to a cheap chiller that will work.
